Get A Playhouse 
With skill and imagination, local corporations, builders, architects and volunteers teamed up to design and construct one-of-a-kind playhouses. These playhouses were auctioned off at the Mall of America on Saturday, March 29. Don't miss our next event, the CommonBond GrandeGala, on Friday, May 30th. All proceeds benefit CommonBond affordable housing communities and Advantage Center services.
Auction Guidelines
All auction bids on playhouse purchases are final. There is no cooling off period. The successful bidder with respect to each playhouse shall promptly:
- Execute and submit the Bidder Confirmation Form to CommonBond Communities.
- Pay to CommonBond Communities, by credit card, cashier's check, or personal check (with proper identification), an amount equal to or greater than the amount of the successful bid for such playhouse; and,
- Execute an agreement that among other things exonerates CommonBond Communities and others as to liability for various matters pertaining to the use and condition of the playhouse.
Satisfaction of these three conditions is a condition precedent to all obligations of CommonBond Communities to the bidder.
All announcements made by the auctioneer shall take precedence over any previously written or oral statements made. Conduct of the auction, increments of the bidding and decisions as to the high bidder will be at the discretion of the auctioneer. Buyers shall rely entirely on their own judgment and inspection of the merchandise.
Delivery and Installation Guidelines
All sales are final. Stated values are, in some cases, estimates and are provided for the buyer’s guidance only. All playhouse interiors are included with your playhouse unless otherwise noted. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax consequence, if any, of your purchases. All purchases become the responsibility of the buyer upon payment.
All playhouses will be removed from the Mall of America® on Saturday, March 29, 2008 by Contract Movers, Inc. (www.contractmoversinc.com) following the close of the auction and taken to Contract Movers, Inc.’s warehouse in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota for storage. Playhouses will be stored in an enclosed warehouse free of charge for 30 days following the auction. After this date, a storage fee will be charged to the playhouse owner(s) by Contract Movers, Inc. unless prior arrangements are made.
Delivery and installation are at the expense of the playhouse owner(s). A consultation with the playhouse Design Team may be arranged. Representatives from Contract Movers, Inc. will be available on the date of the auction to provide an estimate of delivery and installation fees. You may also procure your own vendor for delivery and installation.
Delivery and installation prices may include: trucking fee, crane services, forklift services, permit fees and/or city fees, and traffic control fees. Please also check with your homeowner’s association (if applicable) regarding any association policies.
All playhouse sales are final.
